Soft Shell Crabs in Fresh Butter and Garlic

Sort of a “screw healthy” dinner tonight. It’s soft shell crab season! 

Fresh butter I made Sunday night, a good bit of garlic and a cayenne seasoned flour. Served with wilted spinach. Eaten outside.

The trees have enveloped my deck, it’s just birds and crickets.

    1. They are the craziest little creatures. Regular blue crabs on the New Jersey shore are delicious, but lots of work for a little bit of food.

      You get these beauties between shells though, and eat all of it up. Treat yourself sometime to something different and delicious!
