Splashes of Bucks County Color

Fall is my second favorite season. We’ve had a nice run of warm days and chilly nights. I have lots of wood split and ready to go when the time comes for added warmth

The texture of fall is fascinating. From crunchy leaves to crazy bristled catapillers and soft ornamental grasses, the land is still alive.

What’s happening in your part of the world in October?

  1. Rick,

Nice pics. Fall sure is beautiful over here in Calgary, I just wished it lasted a bit longer before the snow flies! Getting in as much golf as possible before that ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. Josh, thanks for the note. I’ve never been out your way, but always think of the Saddledome!

Do your trees look similar to ours in color this time of year, or are you a bit more towards winter?

Probably another few weeks of decent golf weather here in PA, kind of a crap shoot with weather ๐Ÿ™‚

      1. Rick,

Yes the Saddledome is famous! Haha. Trees look very similar in color, and in the process of losing their leaves. We’ve had a nice October so far, so have snuck some rounds in. My home course will be open this weekend, and will likely start preparing for winter after that. Golf in October is usually just considered a bonus around here!

Our colours are just a vibrant! Only it happens a bit sooner. Love the pictures. Fall is one of my wife and I favorite!

  3. Thanks Jim, appears that you’re getting in your fall golf up there!

It’s certainly pleasant here right now – greats scents in the woods, and LOTS of deer running around.

    Enjoy the season ๐Ÿ™‚
