Growing up

Even though my girls caught the soccer buzz vs the golf buzz, I can’t help but think that at some point in the future both may discover the wonder of this game. To fun, to curiosity of shot making, to improvement in skills, to enjoyment and peace.

The Grid Begins for My Kitchen

I’m moving my The Inefficient Kitchen site over to The Grid. The site will be down until at least morning, then I’ll see how she’s working. I’ve waited over a year to do this, and am founding member 49,742 (I think). I have no idea what is going to happen, what it will grow into. I’m intrigued…

REM = Junior Golf Tournaments

Chapter 2 of “Music and Bands that Remid Me of Friends”.  Mike Farber, I think of you every time I hear an REM song, especially anything off  the first 3 albums. Thank you for your friendship over all these years.  Fun fact – Woodmont Country Club is a client of mine! I vividly recall our…

Soft shell crab po boy with scratch ceasar dressing for the greens and tomato on fresh baguette from The Bread Box and Bakery in Perkasie PA.  Duckhorn Chardonnay is a nice compliment to the casual…

Music Week

  It’s been a while where I’ve gone into a sea of people and lost myself for a while. Tuesday night I spent with Bob Mould and his mates Jason Narducy and Jon Wurster at Underground Arts in Philly, along with 300 other sweaty folks. Bob played a good number of songs off “Patch the…
